The Artists’ Cooperative Gallery (ACG) has always been committed to elevating visual arts in our community. It was art teachers from area schools that originally formed the ACG over 45 years ago. In our tradition of hosting local high school artists on our High School Wall at the gallery, we are hosting the 2nd Annual “Area High School Art Exhibition” exhibiting work from local Nebraska and Iowa High School artists in January 2020. The intention of this special show is to promote the art of High School artists and provide insight on how to put on a professional show at a public gallery. The show will be in our main gallery from January 2nd – February 2nd. We will host an Opening Reception on Friday, January 3, 2020, from 6-9 p. m. The Award ceremony will be at 8:00 p.m. that night.

We believe that this show is a great opportunity to support the aspirations of young artists. The ACG would like to give out a range of awards to students.  We are asking local business owners for financial support in this endeavor through donations in the form of money, gift certificates for services or art supplies.
