The Nebraska Women’s Caucus for Art (NWCA) is presenting an exhibition “Rendezvous with Art” at the Artists Cooperative Gallery in the Historic Old Market, 405 S. 11th Street, Omaha, NE. The show will run from February 4th to March 1st, 2020.  The opening will be held on the First Friday, February 7th from 6 PM to 9PM.  It is open to the public.

There are 31 regional artists represented in the show “Rendezvous with Art”.  A variety of media will be represented such as painting, pine needle baskets, photography, needle stitched photography, cold wax art, porcelain pottery and sculpture.  No specific theme or restrictions were placed on the participating artists as a variety of concepts, styles and mediums were desired to showcase the artist’s personal rendezvous with art from their creative minds.

WCA is a national member organization unique in its multidisciplinary, multicultural membership of artists, art historians, students, educators, and museum professionals.  Nebraska Women’s Caucus for Art (a nonprofit organization) is one of the 21 chapters in the United States.

The NWCA is grateful to the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery for providing this opportunity and space to this show promoting women artists from the region.
