2026 Emerging Artist Exhibition
This January, the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery welcomes you to our 2026 Emerging Artists Exhibition. Join us in celebrating our emerging artists at our opening reception on Sunday, January 4, 2-4 p.m. Exhibition runs December 30 – February 1.
An “emerging artist” is defined as someone who is early-on in their art career. Our biannual Emerging Artists Exhibition serves as an opportunity to showcase new artists in our communities who exhibit high levels of craftsmanship, creativity, and originality. These fourteen artists have each had their own unique journey to art-making, and also represent a wide range of artistic pursuits: ceramics; sculpting with wood, resin, and found objects; assemblage; mixed media; painting in oils, acrylics, and watercolors; photography; printmaking; drawing in graphite and ink; copper etching.
We are featuring 14 artists this year: Alexia Rae Jacobmeier, Ashley Rooze, Ffiona Stone, Hannah Fisk, Isabel Johnson, Jasmyn Linn, Lauren Doeschot, Makayla Reavis, Megan Tomczak-Maxwell, Mik Metzger, Rachel Brodsky, Reese Girdner, Ty Bainbridge, William Arce.
The Audience Choice Award winner will be announced following the final day of the exhibition after all votes have been tallied.
The Artists’ Co-op has been showing the work of respected regional artists since 1975. This cooperative group of artists conducts educational and cultural outreach activities, and it maintains and staffs a gallery that features works in a wide variety of media, including sculpture, weaving, painting, pottery, photography, glass, jewelry, printmaking, and drawing. Monthly opening receptions provide opportunities to meet member artists and learn more about their work.
