"Abrupt Departure" Exhibition

  • Artists' Cooperative Gallery 405 South 11th Street Omaha, NE 68102 United States (map)

The artwork of Gregory D. Brown and Cindia Carlson will be featured in an exhibit, Abrupt Departure, at the Artists' Cooperative Gallery September 28–November 2. Please join us at the opening reception on Saturday, October 4, 1 to 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.

Greg is always creating. Photography is his main creative outlet, and with his creative background being primarily as a videographer or cinematographer, he likes to challenge himself to tell stories through single frame photos.

A focus on Cindia’s portraiture highlights a separate, yet integrated departure from her larger canvases. She paints in a continuum, following narratives taken from her vivid dreams and life experiences. Her discoveries through ancestry and accumulative observations also enrich her subject. Cindia’s compositions are enhanced by her personal style, symbolism and expressive color.
