An opening reception at ACG hosted by the three artists will be held on Friday, May 3 from 6pm to 9pm. Admission to the gallery is free with art available for purchase. It is located at 405 S. 11th St. The new exhibit will run until June 2, and offer a “compelling exploration of the boundless possibilities of artistic expression with a rich diversity of styles and themes.”
Duane Adams of Griswold, Iowa
Adams’ vibrant ceramic sculptures burst with color and emotion, while inviting viewers into a world of dynamite energy and fluid movement. With a focus on abstract forms and textures, he pushes the boundaries and challenges others to rethink their understanding of space and dimensionality.
Jasmine Greenwaldt of Omaha, Nebraska
On the other hand, Greenwaldt’s work is a vibrant tapestry of emotion and exploration, where each stroke and layer bursts with color and expression. Her work invites viewers into a world of textured sensation and depth, while resonating with the soul.
Cindy Rae Mathiasen of Council Bluffs, Iowa
Meanwhile, Mathiasen offers a fresh perspective on the natural world. She blends realism with elements of fantasy and whimsy, including abstract expressionism informed by nature. Mathiasen’s works evoke a sense of wonder while inviting viewers to rediscover the magic and beauty of the world around them.
