Sue Loyd

The magnificence and beauty of God’s World inspire my art.

Traveling with photographer and husband David Loyd, we visit unspoiled mountain meadows, windswept mesas and sandy beaches. An open itinerary provides freedom and time to take in the beauty.

Watercolor paintings are often completed on site; Acrylic paintings though begun onsite, taking reference photos before and during the process, are completed in my studio, with the exception of pieces painted in Pleinair competitions.

Robert Dewaele

I've always wanted to be in a retrospective art show.  I'm very interested in the process of creating art and a retrospective show showcases how my techniques have  improved and the outward expression of my ideas throughout the years.

My dream, which will not be able to be realized, would be to have every sculpture that I've created since I started to exhibit publicly in 1984 to  be in one huge show.  Life without artistic expression would have been so much bleaker.

Dax Curtis Sterner

Hello, my name is Dax. I am an artist and woodworker based in Bellevue, Nebraska. I express my artistic visions in two main ways: painting with acrylics and used latex house paints, and constructing hand-carved frames, sculptures, boxes, and unique art pieces. I draw influence and inspiration from a myriad of sources, and my ultimate intent is to simply make interesting and unique works of art, no matter the style or subject. I find the world to be full of beauty, even in the most unlikely places, and this beauty inspires me to create.

We hope you’ll join us at an opening reception on Friday, June 7, 6-9 at the ACG.

Our hours are...Tuesday - Thursday 11am-5pm, Friday-Saturday from 11am-10pm, and Sundays 11am-5pm.
