During the month of July, the Artists' Cooperative Gallery will be featuring the artwork of Susan Loyd and Duane Adams. The exhibit, “After Effects”, will be on display June 30 – August 2. Please join us at the opening reception on Friday, July 3, 6 to 9 p.m.

Duane Adams states that this show marks his return to oil painting.  It uses a new technique that allows my subsidence mind take over the canvas.  I start with thin glazes of colors that are left to dry.  This is followed by more glazes of color until the canvas leads me to refine and sharpen shapes and areas.  The canvas guides me to the final outcome either naturalistic or abstraction.

 The Artists' Cooperative Gallery showing work from respected area artists since 1975. Members conduct educational and cultural outreach activities, and maintain and staff the gallery.
