During the month of August, the Artists' Cooperative Gallery will be featuring the artwork of Holly Tharnish and Rebecca Rotert. The exhibit, There are still beautiful things, will be on display August 4–30. Please join us at the opening reception on Sunday, August 9, 2 to 5 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
In this exciting new show, Tharnish and Rotert explore the saving power of beauty – moments that still appear even in the most complicated times. In ways both concrete and abstract, they give color and shape to the ways in which curiosity and delight appear and instruct us, and to the deeper questions they raise. These paintings and objects represent the artists’ conversations with themselves and with each other. We hope you’ll join the conversation.
The Artists' Cooperative Gallery celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2025, showing work from respected area artists since 1975. Members conduct educational and cultural outreach activities, and maintain and staff the gallery. The space features a wide variety of media, including sculpture, weaving, painting, jewelry, ceramics, photography and drawing.
